I am having a laptop with OS Windows 7 PC.
However, when I try to install Windows Updates several listed as Important, the bulk of all upgrade fails to install.
I have tried all of the troubleshooting options without success.
I would appreciate help in solving this problem.

Try to update Windows Troubleshooter it may take time but it works.

Do you install an official update of Windows?
