I want to change my OS to linux, how to install linux OS on my windows PC.

The simple way is to get linux operating system cd, put in in your pc and install it by following the installation steps.

You first need to just restart your computer. When you do, it will take you to the GRUB menu, which will let you choose whether to boot into Linux or Windows. From there, you can play around with your new Linux installation.

The simple method is that you can use VirtualBox as mentioned earlier and there is an another way where you can install Linux along Windows 8 using bootable Flash Drive..
