What is active and passive attacks in network security?

There are three different types of attacks are there in network security.
- Active Attack
- Passive Attack
- Advance Attack
Active Attack is an attack distinguish by the assailant endeavoring to break into the framework.
Passive Attack is an attack distinguish by the attacker listening in on communication.

- DoS (Denial-of-Service) Attack
- Man-in-the-Middle Attack
