I've been struggling with this problem from more than two days, and I can't seem to find the cause. at totally random times, chrome opens a tab or twice and tries once it managed to load, and redirects.
I've run scans with programs like Malwarebytes and adwcleaner but they don't detect anything. what can I do? I'm getting hopeless.

In Chrome go to settings > extensions. See if there is anything installed additionally that shouldn't be.

Look in task manager for anything out of the normal while running in Chrome.
