Unluckily i lost my laptop today. Is there any way to get back my stolen laptop. Is there any software to trace it?

Locating a stolen laptop isn't possible unless the thief gets on the same LAN.

Once its gone, Its gone.. There is no possibility to trace it.

There is an optional method to find your stolen laptop, the first thing you want to know is its current location. Most anti-theft products use WiFi lookup to determine the laptop's geo location. They check nearby WiFi hotspots against a database, typically Google's or Skyhook's, to find out the location of the laptop.
